Arthritis Foundation of New Zealand Incorporated $30,000 An intern from the Ministry of Health will assist the Foundation to research and develop options to increase their online presence. The goal is to optimize the Foundation’s reach and provide information and advisory services in the most efficient and effective way.
Bishop’s Action Foundation $14,518 TGM Creative is releasing an intern to assist the Foundation to develop a public relations and marketing strategy. The internship will ensure work undertaken by the Foundation is better understood within the community, and that the Foundation can nurture partnerships that will add value and help sustain its work into the future.
Buller Rural Education Activities Programme (REAP) Incorporated $31,200 The internship will produce a marketing and communications strategy. Buller REAP initially focused on community education when it first formed in the 1980s. Since then, its range of activities and programmes has significantly expanded. The internship is designed to raise community awareness of Buller REAP, to enhance the connections with its wider community and promote the options, opportunities and activities it offers.
Dunedin Community Care Trust $34,396 Connect South (formerly Dunedin Council of Social Services) will release an intern for the Dunedin Community Care Trust to complete a comprehensive review of their operational systems and processes. The intern will also help implement recommendations from the review, supporting the Trust to strengthen its organisation for the future.
Macular Degeneration New Zealand $19,500 An intern from Kin Marketing will use marketing and public relations skills to assist Macular Degeneration New Zealand to develop a communications strategy, and to implement an organisation wide plan. The intern will assist the organisation to implement existing activities as well as to create new initiatives.
Wesley Wellington Mission Incorporated $11,200 An intern from Deloitte will help develop a business plan; explore business models for new initiatives, and progress the Mission’s strategy to achieve long term financial sustainability. The Mission sees the internship as an exciting opportunity to enhance their organisation and strengthen plans for the future.
Wh?ngarei Youth Space Trust $16,925 Ng?ti Hau Health and Social Services will release an intern to support the Trust to develop cultural competence and capacity. This will include working with the staff and with the programmes and activities they offer. This internship will support the delivery of services and activities of a high quality to better meet the needs of young M?ori and the community.
Youth Search and Rescue Tauranga Trust $42,000 An experienced educator will work as an intern with the Trust to develop training resources that align to NZQA Standards. This will provide the Trust with standardised resources and training materials, and provide the Trust’s students with NZQA standard qualifications.
