  • other reports required for the project, such as a seismic assessment (Detailed Engineering Evaluation report) or any specialist reports determined by the nature of your project
  • a project plan and detailed timeline
  • a budget for the total project, showing both the anticipated income and expenditure, and evidence to support the cost of your project, such as a quantity surveyor’s report

What is partnership funding?

Partnership funding means any funding and assets you already have available for your project. For Lottery capital works funds, there is a partnership funding requirement before you can make a funding request.

What should be in place when we make a request to the Lottery Significant Projects Fund?

Grant requests to this Fund must show that:

  • you already have raised at least one-third of the total cost of the project in partnership funding (see below)
  • the project will be managed by a suitably qualified person, with relevant skills and experience in managing projects of this size and scope
  • all resource consent requirements have been met (note that building consent approval is likely to be a condition for a grant for a project that requires a building consent and does not yet have one).
