What is the purpose of the Norman Kirk Memorial Trust?

The Trust helps New Zealanders and people of the South Pacific to reach their potential by providing financial help for education, study or training. The Trust partners with schools, training centres and tertiary institutions to provide scholarships and grants.

When was the Norman Kirk Memorial Trust established?

The Trust was set up in 1976 to honour the life of Norman Kirk, who was the Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1972 to 1974. It was named Trust of the Year by the New Zealand Trustees Association in 2015 and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2016.
