There is a Community Operations (Hāpai Hapori) team based in Nelson, with community advisors who work with rural, marae and urban communities in Tasman, Golden Bay, Nelson and Marlborough.
This team is part of the a wider team working across the Lower North Island and top of the South Island.

The Nelson Community Operations team support the Lottery West Coast / Nelson / Marlborough Community Committee and two COGS committees serving local communities and neighbourhoods:
The Nelson team also supports the Lottery Hurunui Kaikoura Marlborough Earthquake Relief Fund. This Fund is administered by the Community Operations team based in Christchurch and is only available to not-for-profit organisations providing earthquake relief activities and services to people in the Hurunui, Kaikoura and Marlborough districts.
