There is a Community Operations team based in Napier, with community advisors who work with rural and urban communities, community organisations, hapū, iwi and marae in the Wairoa, Napier, Hastings and the Central Hawkes Bay District.

The Napier team also works closely with the Community Operations' teams in Rotorua and Gisborne.

The Napier Community Operations team support the

  • Lottery Hawke's Bay Community Committee (which includes communities in the Wairoa, Napier, Hastings and Central Hawkes Bay Districts)
  • Kahungunu ki Heretaunga COGS Committee (serving local communities and neighbourhoods in Napier and Hastings Districts), and
  • Tamatea / Tāmaki Nui a Rua COGS Committee (serving local communities and neighbourhoods in Central Hawkes Bay District, Dannevirke, Pahiatua and Eketahuna areas)
