There is a Community Operations team based in Gisborne, with community advisors who work with rural, marae and urban communities in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, East Coast, Gisborne and Wairoa.

The Gisborne team also works closely with with the Community Operations' teams in Rotorua and Napier.
