What are the Pacific Development and Conservation Trust's objectives?

The Trust’s objectives are to encourage and promote:

  • improving and protecting the South Pacific’s physical environment, and its natural and historical resources
  • the peaceful economic, physical and social development of the South Pacific and the people who live there, making sure that if any natural or historical resources are used to do this then they are kept protected
  • the peaceful conservation and development of the cultural heritage of the people who live in the South Pacific
  • understanding and goodwill between the people of the South Pacific.
