Margaret Lovell-Smith $5,000 To support the development of a project about pacifism and conscientious objection in Canterbury during WWI.

Peace Foundation Disarmament and Security Centre $25,000 For two New Zealand civil society representatives to participate in the UN conference in New York to begin negotiations on 'a legally binding instrument to prohibit nuclear weapons, leading towards their total elimination'.
Pierre Vermunt $10,000 To collate and catalogue Rongomaiwahine kuia Mrs Pauline Tangiora’s extensive archive of papers, photographs, DVDs and recorded interviews which span nearly 50 years.
The Peace Foundation Disarmament and Security Centre $10,000 To hold an event in Christchurch to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the historic Advisory Opinion by the International Court of Justice in the Hague in 1996.
United Nations Association of New Zealand Inc $5,000 To hold the National Secondary Schools Speech Contest in April/May 2017.
United Nations Association of NZ Incorporated (Canterbury Branch) $10,000 To create online educational resources about the United Nations, and its agencies,
United Nations Youth Association of New Zealand Inc $12,500 To hold the New Zealand model United Nations in Wellington in 2017.
Voice Arts Trust $5,000 To develop and deliver a devised theatre project with young people exploring their collective response to Parihaka's globally significant history of peace activism.
