How do we become a Community-led Development Programme partner?

The Community-led Development Programme is currently being extended to include two new communities.

The regions that will be open for requests for partnership are:

  • Otago/Southland
  • Wellington
  • Hawkes Bay
  • Waikato
  • Northland
  • Auckland

Communities and hapū interested in expressing their interest as programme partners should contact the local office or email otagodiafunding@dia.govt.nz with an expression of interest.

To be considered, your community or hapū will already have or be developing a shared vision and way of working that involves all the community or hapū and a genuine commitment to the community-led development principles.

We plan to have up to eighteen communities and hapū as Community-Led Development Programme partners at any one time. Programme partners will be selected based on programme capacity and the interest in these partnership opportunities.
