How does Lottery Community work?

The Department of Internal Affairs administers Lottery Community; however the members of the national committee or the 11 regional committees review the requests received for their area and make the grant decisions.

In addition to working within the Lottery Grants Board’s outcomes approach and policies, each Lottery Community Committee determines the outcomes and priorities it wants to achieve from the investment of the grant monies available.

There are two funding rounds per year for Lottery Community. The next is 5 July 2017 closing date is the same for all the Lottery Community Committees.
